Autoptic is an arts festival that celebrates independent print culture, with an emphasis on comics and print-based multiples as well as alternative & small press labels of varying media.
Autopic 2024 will feature table exhibitions by more than 100 artists from the worlds of comics, posters and beyond. With a strong focus on publications and artwork that feature original, creator-driven content and compelling DIY aesthetics, Autoptic 2018 will give exhibitors an opportunity to connect with other like-minded artists and audiences while also offering attendees a chance to support and discover all manner of exciting, new and independent artists and creators.
At its core, Autoptic is a juried, expo-style show, but orbiting the expo are readings and talks, artist showcases, and events, held throughout Minneapolis.

The Autoptic Foundation is an all-volunteer run organization devoted to supporting independent creative culture of all kinds locally, nationally and internationally. We are always in need of talented, driven and self-directed people who are willing to help out, both in advanced preparation for and onsite during our events. We are committed to keeping all of our events free to attendees. Exhibitor table fees cover much of our operating costs, but if you are not planning on exhibiting but would like to support Autoptic directly, then we would encourage you to consider making a donation. 100% of all donations go directly towards various costs associated with running our biennial flagship Autopic festival, our local reading events in the Twin Cities and various gallery shows and exhibitions.
